Gausdal Treindustrier and Gausdal Landhandleri have so far collected three tons of plastic film for the "Circular lumber film" project. The plastic will now be converted into plastic granules and used in the production of new plastic film. Variants with 10, 30 and 50% recycled plastic are being produced to find the right quality for the new film.

- "We need projects like the Circular Bioeconomy Arena. A lot of people want to innovate, but you can't solve the challenges alone," said Elin Appel of Paper Province and Mari Blokhus Nordtun of Norwegian Wood Cluster at the opening of the Forum Wood Building Nordic conference in Malmö.

- "Our industry has several common challenges, including documentation. Through our membership of the Norwegian Wood Cluster, we can work on these challenges in a larger community, share experiences and expand our network," says CEO. Morten L. Johansen in Splitkon.

This week we gathered around 80 stakeholders from Sweden and Norway for a conference on wood reuse in the construction industry. We talked about large-scale reuse in practice, how reuse systems are created and guidelines for sustainable procurement.

In Norway, picking analyses have been carried out to obtain data and experience related to the recycling of wood materials. This has taken place as part of the extensive SirkTRE/CircWOOD project and has been carried out by Ragn-Sells in close collaboration with NIBIO and Treteknisk.
