Norwegian Wood Cluster connects companies in the value chain of wood construction
Our cluster consists of small and large businesses in forestry, transportation, wood industry, architecture, consulting, recycling, research, education and finance. The cluster provides an important network for competence sharing, inspiration and development.
There are thousands of people with different knowledge, skills and experience in our businesses. Through meetings, field trips and workshops, we share ideas, find new partners and build networks.

The Norwegian Wood Cluster has been accepted into Innovation Norway’s cluster program (NIC Explore) for the period 2026–2028. As part of NIC Explore, the cluster offers various service packages where large companies pay market price, while small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) gain access to the service packages at a significantly reduced price thanks to support from Innovation Norway (IN).
Service Package: Meeting Venues
The cluster organizes workshops, expert group meetings, study tours, B2B meetings, and more. Price for the service package:
- Large companies: 50,000 kr + VAT
- Medium-sized enterprises (<,250 full-time equivalents, < 50 million euros): 12,500 NOK + VAT (SME support from IN)
- Small businesses (<50 full-time equivalents; < 10 million euros): Free (SME support from IN)
