Norwegian Wood Cluster on the right track

After listening to Walter Qvam, long-time industry leader and chairman of the board, describe the key points of a successful cluster, it was great to be able to see that the Norwegian Wood Cluster is ticking along in key areas. "We are a cluster in good development, but it is important to draw on the experiences of others who have succeeded well," says NWC chairman Jan Tore Meren.

Developing guidance for sustainability reporting

As part of SirkTRE, the Norwegian Wood Cluster is currently conducting the "Finance and Sustainability" project, which includes the development of a sustainability reporting guide for the forest and wood industry. At a recent workshop, Karoline Kjos-Nordli, Glommen Mjøsen Skog, praised the working draft that is now available.
