Last week, the architectural and consulting firm OsloTre was named the winner of the construction industry's climate prize for 2023. Over the past 13 years, OsloTre has specialized in wooden structures and has unique expertise in the field.

It's 25 years since the iconic terminal building at Gardermoen was opened. At an interesting seminar organized by the National Conference for Wood Architecture and NSW Architecture in Oslo on 5 December, we got the story behind why the Gardermoen terminal building was built in wood.

- "The Norwegian Wood Cluster has developed into an interesting arena for knowledge sharing and collaboration on innovation and development to strengthen the competitiveness of wood construction. We therefore look forward to becoming part of the cluster," says CEO Erland Løkken of Bergene Holm.

On Thursday morning, a great deal of experience and expertise was gathered on the premises of Bylab Hamar. Forty people from county councils and municipalities, architectural firms, contractors and other players in the construction industry gathered to learn and share experiences about climate-friendly buildings.

Architecture and artificial intelligence will be the main theme of the conference Trearkitektur on April 4 at DOGA in Oslo. The question is "How will architectural offices and the construction industry be affected by artificial intelligence?"
