Norwegian-Swedish collaboration on the reuse of wood in buildings

What does it take to move forward? At the end of August, 30 selected people from the construction industry in Norway and Sweden gathered for a "Reuse Workshop" at Mjøstårnet in Brumunddal. Building product manufacturers, building product chains, prefabricated house suppliers, construction consultants and recycling companies were invited to share their experiences of reuse in practice.

- If we are to meet the climate challenges, fossil fuel emissions must of course be reduced. The greatest effect will be achieved by utilizing more solar energy. The second most important thing we can do for the climate is to take care of more of the nature we have," said Professor Vigdis Vandvik, UiB, at the NWC owners' meeting.
