The annual meeting of Norwegian Wood Cluster showed full support for the development of the cluster. In line with the election committee's unanimous recommendation, there were few changes to the board, with Jan Tore Meren now embarking on his third year as chairman.
Sustainability reporting guide is available

As part of SirkTRE, the Norwegian Wood Cluster has developed a sustainability reporting guide for the forest and wood industry. "The hope is that the guide will be useful, not least for companies with little or no experience of sustainability reporting," says cluster leader Berit Sanness.

Lillehammer: Interest in climate planning of buildings

An interested crowd gathered when the Climate-friendly buildings project invited people to share knowledge and experiences at Rosenlund on January 24. The project presented was the construction of a new school and kindergarten in Biri. Gjøvik Municipality is behind the assignment, which laid down strong guidelines for environmental considerations in the project.
