What is a digital twin and what can it be used for? In early September, NWC member companies were invited to Hapro Electronics to learn from both their and Hunton's experiences with digital twins.

The new facility at Bergene Holm's Haslestad branch minimizes waste - "This is how we curb waste throughout the value chain and take care of the raw material. We ensure exact deliveries," says Bergene Holm's radar pair; Sustainability Manager Hege Voll-Midtgaard and Innovation Manager Mona Gran Sukke.

- "Wood accounts for 10% of the waste we handle. Through collaboration in the cluster, we hope to develop alternatives to using wood for energy recovery," says Katrine Gilje Aalstad, head of Innsikt, which is a collaboration between five inter-municipal waste management companies.

Architect Julie Gedde-Dahl has been hired as a new project manager in Norwegian Wood Cluster. She will play a key role in the cluster, among other things by leading our specialist group "Future building solutions"," says cluster leader Berit Sanness.

Wood can withstand moisture - if it is given the opportunity to dry out again. But what do we need to pay attention to in order to prevent moisture from accumulating and leading to mold and fungal damage? Norwegian Wood Cluster and Construction City Cluster (CCC) will develop an industry guide with useful knowledge about building safely and durably.
