The Great Wood Course

This year, the focus of The Big Tree Course is lapartment building in wood. This is where the the foremost experts in Scandinavia Scandinavia’s foremost experts on modern timber structures, with the aim of efficiently and economically solve large wooden apartment buildings using modern timber structures.

The course provides a thorough introduction from start to finish in the design and construction phase of large wooden apartment buildings, focusing on wooden support systems, detailing, acoustic solutions and fire clarifications.

Forum for Timber Structures (FFT) is an independent non-profit professional membership organization established in 1982. The purpose of the Forum is to work for the development of wood construction techniques and to promote the use of wood as a construction material.
