Heimvaag AS has been accepted as a member of the Norwegian Wood Cluster. - "As an architectural firm with a particular commitment to wood architecture and circular solutions, we see great value in understanding every link in the timber value chain and look forward to actively participating in the cluster," says company founder Espen Heimdal.

Norwegian Wood Cluster and Karriere Innlandet invite employees in NWC's member companies to participate in group-based training in production technology and logistics. The course starts on January 9, 2026 at Gjøvik. The offer is aimed at both vocational certificate on the job candidates and internship candidates.

The Digitization and Automation group recently made a study trip to Fiskarheden Trävaru to hear about the company's experience of using CT technology in timber sorting. Production technician Martin Eriksson had calculated the effect of CT scanning, and he is ready to leave the saw standing if a breakdown leads to a return to 3D technology.
