The Digitization and Automation group recently made a study trip to Fiskarheden Trävaru to hear about the company's experience of using CT technology in timber sorting. Production technician Martin Eriksson had calculated the effect of CT scanning, and he is ready to leave the saw standing if a breakdown leads to a return to 3D technology.

In early November, it was once again time to gather the leaders of our member companies for joint inspiration, replenishment and networking. This year, we got to hear about Forsvarsbygg's initiatives and work with sustainability, and about trends and opportunities for the wooden buildings of the future.

This fall's seminar in the project "Climate-friendly buildings Innlandet" clearly showed that the construction industry is in the midst of a necessary shift in thinking. After decades of talking about sustainability, we're now seeing real momentum for adding value to the materials and resources we already have.
