To date, a total of 18 candidates from five of NWC’s member companies have taken advantage of this opportunity. The course is conducted in sessions and runs for eight months, allowing participants to combine their training with their daily work at the company.

The course is led by Jørn Tore Morønning and Jostein Matterud, both of whom have a solid practical and theoretical background in logistics and production. In their teaching, they closely link theory to day-to-day work in companies.

Good collaboration with Karriere Innlandet

The program was developed in close collaboration with Karriere Innlandet, with the goal of creating a program that meets the specific skill needs of the industry. The aim is to build on the skills of the companies’ employees, for the benefit of both the companies and their employees.

The fact that as many as 18 employees from five member companies are now participating in the training program shows that there is interest in a flexible program tailored to the demands of working life that leads to a vocational certificate.

New class in 2027

NWC wishes to continue its successful collaboration with Karriere Innlandet, and the goal is to launch a new cohort in October 2027.

There are two vocational certificate programs for adult candidates:

  • The private candidate program for candidates with 5 years of experience at the company or in similar work
  • On-the-job certification for candidates with less experience, which allows the company to apply for apprenticeship grants.

Does your company have employees with relevant practical experience but without a vocational certificate in logistics or production technology? If so, we encourage you to start identifying which of your employees might be suitable candidates for next year’s vocational certificate program.
