Workshop on Moisture in Solid Wood Buildings

Moisture damage in solid wood buildings can lead to delays, costly repairs, and uncertainty regarding the choice of construction method. At the same time, there is a wealth of valuable knowledge within the industry that is currently scattered across various professional communities and projects.

At the workshop, we bring together stakeholders from across the value chain to:

• identify the most important challenges
• share experiences from completed projects
• discuss roles, responsibilities, and critical interfaces
• provide input for a new industry guide on moisture protection in solid wood buildings

We are particularly interested in participants from the client side, the architecture and consulting sectors, contractors, suppliers, the insurance industry, and research communities.

The workshop is part of 3FUKT, a collaboration between Construction City Cluster, Norwegian Wood Cluster, and SINTEF Community.
