Ona Flindall has taken over as cluster leader of the Norwegian Wood Cluster from Berit Sanness. “I’m looking forward to taking on this role,” says Flindall, who brings a solid combination of expertise, a strong network, and a deep commitment to the position.

RAM Architecture has been accepted as a member of the Norwegian Wood Cluster. “We aim to be an architectural firm with leading expertise in the areas of circularity/reuse, wood architecture, and sustainability, and we look forward to becoming part of the cluster,” says Hilde Grøneng, a partner at RAM.

- Through the projects in which Forestia has participated, we have seen that the cluster’s work, expertise, and position are highly relevant to several of the Byggma Group’s other companies. That is why the Group is now taking over the membership in the cluster, says Conrad Lehne Drangsland, CEO of Byggma ASA.

A Norwegian-Swedish workshop titled “Cross-Border Financing” discussed how access to capital, investor expertise, and collaboration can be strengthened to finance startups and growth companies in the forestry and bioeconomy sectors. The dialogue will continue.

The Norwegian Wood Cluster offers a new vocational certificate in production technology and logistics for the woodworking industry, digital training in the lumber and glulam trades, as well as short micro-courses that can be used for on-the-job training in the factory.
