About the event

The Mjøs region is poised to take advantage of some of Norway’s most exciting opportunities at the intersection of construction, industry, and technology. Large and complex construction projects are placing ever-greater demands on digitalization, data flow, and collaboration, while also opening the door to innovation and new technological solutions.

We would therefore like to invite you to a networking event for technology companies and the BAE industry. The event will be held at Strandvegen 14, an energy-efficient landmark building that houses, among others, Rørlegger Asbjørn Nordsveen AS and Bravida Innlandet.

08:40 From Mjøstårnet to Mjøssykehuset: industry, technology, and the digital value chain

Large hospital projects such as Mjøssykehuset place ever-increasing demands on digitization, structured information, and collaboration throughout the entire lifecycle—from early planning and design through construction, handover, operation, and further development.

With the Wood Hotel and Mjøstårnet serving as a local and relevant context, Li will demonstrate how industry, technology, and digitalization are interconnected. Mjøstårnet showcases what the region has already achieved in the wood industry, industrialization, and project execution. Mjøssykehuset represents a new level of complexity, where climate goals, efficient project execution, operations and maintenance, logistics, and hospital operations all require robust digital value chains.

She will also present the digital requirements, structure, and tools that Sykehusbygg will be bringing to the table—and what is expected of the supplier market going forward. The main message is that future deliveries are not just about products and services, but also about accurate information, documentation, and traceability.

Lanjing Li works with digital strategy, BIM, information management, and collaboration processes in large hospital projects, including Mjøssykehuset. Her role is to translate digital ambitions into specific requirements, workflows, and tool support throughout the project lifecycle—from planning and design through construction, handover, and operations and maintenance.

Li holds a degree in civil engineering with a specialization in offshore construction and has about 10 years of experience in the consulting industry, primarily on large and complex Class 1 projects. Among other projects, she has worked on the Radium Hospital, the Fornebu Line, the Ocean Space Center, the Sotrasa Connection, and Equinor’s electrification projects.
