Attendance at Rebuild Ukraine

The reconstruction of Ukraine will require massive, fast and, not least, sustainable solutions. Here, wood is a natural choice. Through our participation in Rebuild Ukraine, we want to present the cluster’s combined expertise and technologies for industrialized wood construction, which can provide fast and cost-effective construction of homes, schools and infrastructure.

“We see a huge need for efficient, climate-friendly construction processes, and the Norwegian timber industry has unique expertise in modular and industrialized timber construction. These systems are scalable and can be implemented quickly, which is crucial in a reconstruction phase,” says Knut Amund Skatvedt, project manager at NWC.
