Vision and goals
Norwegian Wood Cluster is a business cluster for wood construction and is owned by its members.
The cluster was established in 2017 and consists of leading industrial companies and R&D institutions within the value chain of forest, industry, construction, recycling and finance.
Our members work with a renewable raw material with low greenhouse gas emissions and therefore play an important role in society’s transition from fossil to renewable production.
Strategic focus areas:
- Increase the level of competence, adaptability and innovation in the value chain
- Developing sustainable and circular building solutions in wood for the future
- Better utilization of resources and sustainability throughout the value chain
Norwegian Wood Cluster is included in Innovation Norway’s cluster program (NIC explore) for the period 2026-2028.
