Kickoff for “Norwegian Wood Goes Abroad”: Denmark

Tuesday, November 24, 2026
14 Norbygata, Oslo
Norwegian Wood Cluster and Innovation Norway invite you to a hands-on kickoff event focused on the Danish market. Snøhetta and Bjertnæs Sag will share their experiences with exporting, project planning, and services, and you’ll gain insight into what Danish buyers are looking for and what you should be aware of as a new supplier in Denmark. The event is designed to provide your business with a foundation for evaluating opportunities in Denmark—and determining whether a follow-up process is appropriate for your company.

About the event

Denmark is tightening its climate requirements for buildings and increasingly focusing on wood-based solutions. This opens up new opportunities for Norwegian manufacturers, architects, consultants, and design firms. But which opportunities are realistic, and what does it take to succeed? Sign up and explore the possibilities!

At the kickoff, you’ll get:

  • The buyer’s perspective: what Danish companies are looking for
  • Lessons from companies that have succeeded internationally
  • advice on common barriers and mistakes Norwegian companies should avoid
  • insights into specific market opportunities for Norwegian products and services
  • Find out if “Norwegian Wood Goes Abroad” is the right next step for your company

You don’t have to have decided to do business in Denmark to benefit from this event. Register and gain a better foundation for assessing the opportunities, requirements, and path into the Danish market.

Registration fee

• Members: 1,000 NOK + VAT.
• Non-members: NOK 1,500 + VAT.
• Small businesses (SMBs): 100% subsidy for the registration fee
• Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): 80% subsidy for the registration fee

Note: For SMEs, the subsidy from Innovation Norway covers all or part of the registration fee, but not the value-added tax (VAT). VAT is therefore calculated based on the event’s standard price. When registering with SME support, the company simultaneously confirms that it qualifies for such support in accordance with state aid regulations
