But what opportunities do the various certification programs offer, and when does it make sense to choose one program over another?   ","om_arrangementet":"<p class=\"\">Here is an introduction to certification schemes relevant to the construction industry: Nordic Swan Ecolabel, Milj\u00f8fyrt\u00e5rn, BREEAM, Futurebuilt, and Norwegian Standards. What do the various schemes entail, and where do they overlap? Examples from construction projects that have chosen different solutions to achieve their climate goals for materials and energy use.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">We'll set aside time for questions and sharing experiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><img class=\"size-full wp-image-1496 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/nwcluster.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Marit-Smidsrod.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"160\" height=\"160\">Presented by Marit Smidsr\u00f8d, environmental advisor and consultant at Norconsult.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Marit holds a master\u2019s degree in civil engineering from the Department of Climate and Refrigeration Engineering at NTNU. She has served as discipline lead and subject matter coordinator for energy and the environment on several major projects, which have provided her with a strong interdisciplinary understanding. Of particular note is her role as environmental manager at the Life Sciences Building and Campus \u00c5s, where she worked for several years on environmental management for Statsbygg.
